BOOK US NOW:

ECOPOCA (Ecopocalypse) エコポカ is an exhibition-event creating a “Ku-kan,” an “in-between” space to experience the intersection of two alternate realities we stand at the crux of today— a nuclear eco-apocalypse vs. an advanced eco-future society.

The exhibit and panel discussion address our global environmental crisis, and traumas including the ongoing Fukushima nuclear issue. ECOPOCA features 24
artists, musicians, and dancers originating from the local Bay Area and abroad, using mediums ranging from Installation art to dance infused with augmented reality and eco-fashion.

To highlight healthy ancestral foods, we will have Chamorro-Japanese fusion cuisine, and herbal drinks. We invite artists and attendees alike to share their diverse backgrounds of ancestral eco-wisdom. Together, we can create accessible, scalable solutions that will help us build a more optimistic reality.

WHY IS ANCESTRAL ECO-WISDOM IMPORTANT?
Our global ancestors have lived in harmony with nature for thousands of years. Depending on the specific environment, cultures have cultivated unique environmental ways of life. However, this knowledge is rapidly being lost. It is important that we collectively, globally revive our wisdom & lost technologies - share our best practices to help envision a more sustainable future.
